Resonant Circuits Limited Advances Cancer Therapy with Quantum Thermometry

We are excited to share our work within the Q-BIOMED initiative, developing next-generation quantum sensing techniques for thermometry.

To improve targeted cancer treatments like magnetic thermotherapy, precise local temperature monitoring is critical. Resonant Circuits Limited is developing ultra-sensitive quantum sensors—including near-field nitrogen-vacancy and optically pumped magnetometer (OPM) technologies—designed for integration into minimally invasive surgical tools.

By enabling real-time, in situ monitoring of the temperature-dependent magnetisation of magnetic nanoparticles, our quantum thermometry technique will significantly advance the precision, safety, and effectiveness of localized oncology treatments.
